Behind the scenes.

On June 16th, 2023, Maria and Eli Bentley said, “I do” to forever together. And I had the honor of documenting the day.The Bentley Wedding is the second wedding I have ever shot. I brought two cameras, a Canon 90D and a Panasonic GH5, doing most of my filming on the GH5. The couple wanted some landscape shots of the outdoor ceremony for the recap video, so of course I brought my drone - an Anafi Parrot. It was a full day, starting at 10 am and going until 9 pm, but it was so rewarding. To be able to capture the story of their day and record the family and friends' experience was incredible.The edit took me about a month, as I had hours of footage. I wanted to make the day feel magical, while still honoring the seriousness of the decision that was made. The edit was helpful in identifying shots that really worked and shots that did not quite fit the style. The finished video left me with a lot of new ideas for future wedding videography.
